This project is the made off the feeling of my hood. Red Hook projects . I did this for me and all my people. This story has never been told before. If you know anything about Red Hook projects. It was a hard place to live in growing up in the 70’s and the 80’s. Not only Al Capone was born here. But there where many other gangstaz from my town. A lot of crimes and killing was done here. ‘’ Before the time before time’’. This how Red Hook got it’s name. It was from the Doc ports with shipmen and navy sailorman will stop at this port and trade , Drink and party and death will occur from this. Red Hook was once called ‘’ Green Hook’’. The story will tell you how Da Hook became Red. But out side of all of that stuff there are myths and legions and also truth to the story. There is not a lot of proof of this. So everybody have there own story, bits and pieces of it. But my neighborhood was built on a Indian burial ground. ‘’True fact’’. Red Hook is a few blocks off the Hudson river.
